Post- covid, technology has started to play a big role in everyone's lives. Kids have got addicted to their devices increasing disconnect from friends and family also causing social anxiety.
To help parents easily engage in family friendly experiences for their kids to
get out of the house, have fun and interact with the world around them.

​We decided to focus on ‘Increasing disconnect from their family and friends’ and wanted to help the family enjoy with each other, making the best memories. We then came up with our how might we statement.
- Design and develop an interactive app that saves you the trouble of having to choose between several activities to do with your family, along with an interactive paper die.

MELINDA SAYS
'MELINDA SAYS', an interactive app that saves you the trouble of having to choose between several activities to do with your family.
With our app being shown that it is not only feasible but also usable to rekindle family time and get kids excited for the next activities. Our app was designed with the intent of being affordable, easy to use and most importantly family friendly for all ages and usable anywhere around the world. With the geolocation technology and the photo book to store your family photos, the app becomes a safe for all the great memories and adventure you get up to. It becomes your one stop shop for all your crazy and exciting road trips or activities of your choice. No matter what time of day it is, just roll your dice and see what Melinda cooks up next. Will it be what you’re after or if not just roll till your heart's content.
